~The First of Many, Rising Up From My Subconscious~

I remembered one, from sleeping on the sofa. I was looking out the window, from the living room, which is actually a sliding glass door overlooking my porch, and beyond that a parking lot, but in the dream it looked out on the ocean.

It was snowing, hard, the wind was blowing, the ocean roiling, but I'm not sure that's the right word. It was heaving, rolling, swirling. There were ice packs on the water, like icebergs, but they broke open so I could see the ocean below. It was dark, nighttime, but I could see the ocean. It was a huge storm. Rather exciting actually.

I assumed I had no school. I guess I was in college. I didn't wait to find out, by watching TV news, or listening to radio, I assumed I had the day off. I went to the library, and I was preceded by a young, attractive man, and followed by an elderly woman. I struck up chats with both, and I think we three got together, morphed into others, as people in dreams do. Morphing, lots of it.

It's coming back, bits and pieces, foggy and hazy still. I love the feeling. Remembering, but not quite, being there again, inside my subconscious mind, consciously. It's like being on drugs, in a way. Good drugs. The snow was so amazing, for this time of year, snow, here! Over the ocean. I'm hundreds of miles from any ocean, but there, in the dream, it was just outside my window.

Slowly, I think it will all come back to me.
