~Do Muslims Pray at Sundown?/We Have THREE Buses Going to D.C.!~

I was home at lunch (as usual except in unusual circumstances such as yesterday when my stupid car window fell into the door frame) and besides watching Norman running around chasing her tennis ball, which was really really cute, especially considering shes an old girl, I checked my email and I had what appeared to be a final email from the local coordinator and Rallyer/Marcher extraordinaire regarding the bus trip.

We have THREE buses now! This is the biggest turnout I know of, for our apathetic city, and its all very exciting. The email was informing us of comfy things we might take, pillows and blankets, etc. (uh, I dont want to carry a whole load of crap, just my little pack and me, the pack can be a pillow, done it before, and one can only be so comfy on a bus), and that there will be a rather large contingent of Muslims joining us, and we will make every effort to accommodate their prayer schedule. What does this mean? Im racking my brain trying to think of Muslims prayer schedules. Is it sundown? I think so. So, were leaving later than we thought, 8:30 instead of 8:00, due to prayer? Perhaps. Okay. Hey, Im agnostic, but I respect others needs to be part of organized religions. And I love that were all up for it. Its so communal, so loving and caring. Sort of, dont ya think?

This is good that I have so much extra time now. I can go home and take a bath, get ready for bed, but instead of going to bed, I go to bus. I was lying in bed last night, about to drift off, when it occurred to me, Tomorrow night Ill be sleeping on a bus. Well, its tonight now, and Im ready, I think Ill be really tired. I can listen to Jeff Buckley or Nick Drake or Miles Davis or Billie Holiday, etc., etc., etc., (I filled a CD case with about 12 very different CDs) and fall asleep. Wheeeeeeee

Im actually kind of tired now, kind of winding down from being all keyed up earlier, plus I ate a PBJ, and they make me sleepy somehow. Maybe Ill just sit here and take a little nap. Um, I think this may be the last entry I post until Sunday or Monday, probably Sunday if I have energy. If I dont post it means the bus rolled over on the highway in the middle of the night and the team from CSI is currently investigating the cause of our deaths or I was arrested along with hundreds of other really scruffy looking weirdos/Communists/Socialists/Demonstrators, and Ill be back as soon as our bail is posted or I hooked up with some old hippie and we are on our way to New Mexico to build a solar powered adobe house and grow our own food, organically, and adopt lots of refugee children to raise, also organically or I think those are the only possibilities. I should get back to my diary by Sunday. Will you miss me? (Hell, Joleen, youre only going to miss one day, get over yourself!) Who said that?
