Sunday, Nov. 03, 2002 / 8:22 p.m. ~An Important Call, Missed~ Jimmy Carter just called me. I was watching "The Simpsons", and on a commercial break decided to come in and check for email, scope out new Webshots wallpaper, and there was a message on the CallWave answering machine.... from Jimmy. He wants me to be sure to vote for Max Cleland and Roy Barnes on November 5th. Do you think if I'd been offline, if I'd had the ringer turned on, if it had rung, I'd heard it and I'd answered it, it would have actually been Jimmy Carter, or was it just a recording???? Did I miss my big chance to have a chat on the phone with Jimmy? Fuck me. On "The Simpsons".... "Manimals and Vertabroads!" Very funny. Other good lines worth remembering, lines I promptly forgot.
