~For You, Qwert~

Qwert, your comments are growing so tired, if you want help getting to the protest, or to any protest, or for anything, ask the appropriate parties. I'm not sure what you want from me, why you don't communicate via email, why you insist on leaving messages in my guestbook, without any contact info, or even your Diaryland url. What is your point? You don't have a job? You don't have money to travel? So don't travel. Organize locally. I suggested you go to D.C., I said it's important, because I thought you were an activist and it would be something you'd do.

If you can't afford it, if you want the entire issue to be about you and your lack of funds, go tell someone who can help you. Get a job, save some money, or, like I say, organize within your own community, educate your neighbors, get a pen and some paper and write up some letters, send them to your Congressmen, your Senators, if you can afford postage. I never should've suggested you go to D.C., but I thought you were already a protestor. "My bad", as the kids say.

You are pushing an issue that is going nowhere. You know the solutions to your problems, but you want some sort of handout. Yes, I think, from what I've read in my guestbook, you are 'fucking selfish'. And yes, I think as long as you live here, in this country, you'd best play by the rules, fight from within. Standing on the outside expecting a free ride, or expecting socialism, or communism, in this society, will get you nowhere, fast.

I am guessing you're young, maybe under 20? I didn't work my first job until I was around that age, when I left home to go to school. I'm sure there are restaurants in your area? Can you wait tables? So, do it. Work for your living, contribute. Pay your way. Then your arguments may take on a little more meaning. Right now you're simply blowing hot air. No kidding.

Again, if you want to talk to me, personally, which it seems you do want to do, I encourage you to put your thoughts together and write to me at my address listed on this page under 'contact'. If you want dialogue, we can have it. If not, you're wasting time, and probably embarassing yourself in the long run. What is your point, anyway? That you need some sort of 'ticket'? You can't afford it so someone should 'give' it to you? You mean transport to D.C. for a national protest next month? Ask someone locally, have that bake sale I mentioned, sell blood, anything, get a job as Christmas help in your local Mall, you have one, right?

Earn it. Why on Earth should anyone give you anything? Especially a free ride? Are you indigent? Are you disabled? Get with the organizers in your area, they can probably help you if you can ask them in the proper manner, diplomatically, if you can present a just cause. But leaving me messages in my guestbook is really going to get you nothing that you want. You do understand that, right? I'm not sure what you want from me, and neither is anyone else who reads this.

Anything else is going in my other journal. Much better atmosphere there...... Later, people.
