2001-09-11 / 11:56 a.m. ~Trying to maintain~ My first entry straight from work. Every radio has been on since just before 9:00, we prayed, even me, we're in shock, we're working, but I don't know how, the phones barely ring, my bestest friend's mom, the flight attendant, is safe, grounded at Hartsfield. The Federal Building downtown has been evacuated, CNN is in a lockdown, we'll be okay. I hope they're through. They made their point, let it be over for now. Just let it be over. And we will wake up soon, from this collective nightmare. Just working, going home for lunch soon, to watch television coverage, only so much to gain on the radio. I want to go home, hug my cats and stay there. Just let us all wake up, okay? Cost of the War in Iraq
