Saturday, Aug. 02, 2003 / 10:40 p.m. ~Not Much, Really~ I just remembered to update this thing, so I'll make it super brief. I slept, a lot, and dreamed, again, a lot, and I needed it, unh huh, a lot. I'm in major menstruation mode, so my lower back hurts, and I've got the cramps, and I'm tired, and I'm watching the Biography channel, not so typical, but there you go, a look at Marg Helgenberger, or is it Helgenburger? No, must be the former, but I don't blame her for correcting her name when she won the Emmy, Marge is not Marg. So sue her. Okay, I spent hours today, yes, hours, catching up on emails to Caroline, and my only regret is my sucky email program, because I love our conversations - email conversations, there's a concept. And my online shopping consisted of purchasing this turntable: I needed something that will play the 78 rpm records I inherited years ago, as my old turntable/cassette player/radio combo from 1977 is in my storage locker, pretty much out of commission. I have a Technics turntable, but it plays 33 and 45 rpm only. So now I'll sit and listen to Benny Goodman, or Edith Piaf or Spike Jonze or whoever and I think it will be fun. And when I'm through, I'll close the case and put it in my closet, the best thing about it, I think. A big purchase, but hopefully very worthwhile. Other than that, I'm blank. I've written a lot today, but nothing here, and it's about time that's the case. Cost of the War in Iraq
