Thursday, May. 26, 2005 / 11:04 p.m. ~It Only Happens Twice a Day~ Hey, hey, hey, almost forgot to update! Nothing is going on, nothing is happening, nothing happened all day. Sort of wandered room to room, talked on the phone, looked at some web sites, looked out the window, sat on the porch, applied for a job, looked out some more windows, felt hot, drank ice water, peed a lot (pee'd?), drank more, felt really hot, showered, drove to post office to pay phone bill, felt the cool night air, got stuck behind cars going ten miles under the speed limit, felt angry, enjoyed the air, wandered room to room back at home, sat and watched that Elvis special I taped a couple of weeks ago, felt badly for Elvis and his family, looked at some web sites, drank some more ice water. And ate a smoked ham and portabello mushroom pizza. It was good, and I'm still hungry. And York Peppermint Pattys (Patties?) are better when refrigerated for a while before eating. Got another offer for a credit card I could never get, in the mail today. Why? Big Holiday weekend, whoo and hoo. Mixed feelings about people, so what's new? Nada. See? Nothing. Nothing is happening. Major lethargy and laziness going hand and hand, too tired to skip down the lane together. Lethargy and Laziness lie next to each other on beach towels in the sand, under big beach umbrellas, color coordinated to match the towels. Lethargy and Laziness take turns flipping from front to back, even though the sun doesn't reach their skin to tan it. Lethargy and Laziness are too lax in their sun protection efforts to be in the sun for long. It's late already too, how does this happen? Today was the first day I've not slept with the cell phone on just in case I get a call first thing in the morning, a BUSINESS call. I didn't care. I don't care. Anymore. Oooooh, I look at the clock and it's 11:11, that only happens twice a day you know, so this is a good time to call this entry over. Cost of the War in Iraq
